Lead Software Developer (C# .Net)

The Role

An exciting new opportunity has arisen for a lead developer to join a high profile new project. Working closely with the project manager, you must be able to demonstrate experience of the full project lifecycle in medium to large projects and experience of leading a small team of developers, with 3-5 years experience. The position will be based in the group’s offices in Ipswich and the lead developers prime responsibility is to ensure production of those products defined by the project manager to an appropriate quality, in a timescale and at a cost acceptable to the project board. The lead developer reports to and takes direction from the project manager.

The Candidate

You will ideally have the following skills, all with proven coding experience
• .Net platform (asp.Net / c#) – Ideally Versions 3.0 or 3.5
• Good OO (Object Oriented) skills, preferably with an understanding of design patterns.
• SQL Server, Ideally 2005 – T-SQL / Stored Procedures, some db design concepts such as normalisation.
• HTML / CSS / JavaScript / AJAX.
• Strong Database Design
• System Design
• Systems Analysis and requirements gathering

The following skills would be advantages but not essential
• Flash / Action script / Java
• Web Design
• Prince II Methodology

Salary £25,000 to £30,000 dependent upon experience
